After nearly eighteen months of prayerful searching, we are delighted to announce that Rev. Eric Botzet has answered our call to be the next teaching elder at TRBC.
Seen above with Jan and me on their candidating visit a few months ago, Eric and Jordan will soon relocate their household from Plevna, Montana to the Clearwater Valley.
Eric is a follower of Jesus Christ, husband, dad, and pastor. He came to saving faith in junior high and sensed God's call to ministry while in high school.
He received his B.A. in Philosophy from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and then his Master of Divinity from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in South Hamilton, MA.
He was ordained in January 2018. Since 2020 he has pastored Emmanuel Evangelical Free Church in Plevna. Prior to that he served in churches on Vancouver Island, in Boston, and in Wisconsin.
Eric met his bride, Jordan, while she was on a mission trip to Boston. They were married in 2011 and have five children.
He enjoys preaching the gospel and worshiping Jesus in song. He loves spending time with his family - playing with his children, camping, road trips, reading together, daily family worship, and eating anything Jordan prepares.
Planning for Pastor Eric's installation service is underway for Sunday morning, August 28. He will bring his first sermon as TRBC's full-time lead teaching pastor, Lord willing, on September 4, 2022.
